Illuminant Begins First In-Human Study at Mount Sinai Hospital

Illuminant began its first-in-human study at Mount Sinai Health System Hospital in New York City. During this first phase, we assessed the usability and performance of our system in the operating environment. Here’s what Dr. Jeremy Steinberger, Director of Minimally Invasive Spine at Mount Sinai, had to say about our platform after using it: “Seeing Illuminant live in the OR was seeing into the future - fast, efficient, no radiation, no need for separate incisions to set up for navigation-based surgery.
